Who can become a member?
The society is primarily intended to be a contact point between scientists, clinicians and other nursing staff, however, anyone interested in movement disorders may become a member.
What do you get as a member?
- Invitations to all meetings and trainings arranged by SWEMODIS. Besides the 1-3 larger meetings arranged each year, the society also offers workshops and SK-courses, and also experts training courses in movement disorders for neurologists and geriatricians and courses for movement disorder experts
- The opportunity to engage in educational issues within the field of movement disorders
- The opportunity to engage in the development of therapeutic guidelines
- The opportunity to engage in the development of scientific projects

The fee for one year membership is SEK 200
The fee for a life-long membership is SEK 500
